Today, more than 1100 years after Ingólfur built his farmhouse at the foot of Mt Ingólfsfjall, a new Viking long house has been erected. 
As far as possible the design of the building follows the architectural style of the Viking house of the period.  While serving as a rare  and impressive reminder of times past Ingólfsskáli is an elegant restaurant deserving a visit (on both counts).

Banquets and celebrations

A magnificent banquet hall seats up to 250 people.  This emphasis is on creating an atmosphere in which our guests can enjoy traditional and interesting surroundings.

Our chefs will not disappoint you and our staff make sure you can feast on our delicacies to your heart's content.
